ATL was thrilled to be involved in a landmark moment in its history, marked by director Ash Karia’s participation in the prestigious Multimodal Exhibition 2024, where he had the esteemed honour of meeting Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, The Princess Royal.
The three-day event, a cornerstone in the logistics and transport industry calendar, proved to be an incredible opportunity for ATL Haulage. The company engaged with long-standing partners, forged new connections and networked with industry peers, all while underscoring the transport sector’s pivotal role in the global economy.
A highlight of Multimodal 2024 was Ash Karia’s significant encounter with HRH The Princess Royal. As the Patron of Transaid, an international development charity co-founded by Save the Children, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), and HRH herself, Princess Anne’s presence underscored the event’s importance.
During their discussion, Ash Karia and Princess Anne delved into Transaid’s impactful work, reflecting on its mission to improve transport systems in developing countries, thereby enhancing access to crucial services and economic opportunities.
“This was a proud and defining moment for our company,” said Ash Karia. “Engaging with HRH The Princess Royal about Transaid’s vital contributions highlights the significant intersection between our industry and global development efforts. We look forward to continuing these valuable conversations and fostering collaborations that drive positive change.”
ATL Haulage will continue to build on the insights and connections gained at Multimodal 2024, reinforcing its commitment to excellence and innovation in the transport industry.
